TO GOOD EATING
READ ALL ABOUT IT
One of the great delights of living in Los Cabos is the food. As a visitor you'll find yourself inundated by advertisements and coupons for everything from tacos to lobster dinners, most of which are pretty decent. (It's actually hard to find a bad meal in Cabo.) But the truly excellent restaurants lie off the beaten path and have been discovered by the locals through an adventurous process of trial and error.
The purpose of the Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating an More! is to introduce the discriminating traveler to those special dining experiences that will help make your journey to Los Cabos memorable. The guide is divided into three distinct areas: Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Transpeninsular Highway that links the two towns and is referred to as The Corridor. Together, these three areas make up the region known as Los Cabos (The Capes).
This guide reflects our own personal tastes. We accept no restaurant advertising. We pay for our own meals and have eaten at all the restaurants listed (and we have the waistlines to prove it). Any restaurant can have a bad day, so we apologize in advance if your calamari tastes like rubber or your guacamole isn't green.
We just returned from Los Cabos. We stayed in San Jose Del Cabo, but had a rental car so were able to traverse the corridor to Cabo and up to Todos Santos. Your book was extremely helpful. We stayed at the Presidente Inter-Continental which is all-inclusive so we didn't eat out everynight or day. We did try the places you recommended and enjoyed them all. The Office in Cabo, The Cafe Santa Fe in Todos Santos, Zippers, the French Rivera Bakery, Sunday brunch at Buzzards was a highlight. By the way, the road is now paved! Thanks!

...another huge hit was Puerta Vieja -- we went back twice in our two week visit. Loved Cafe Santa Fe in Todos -- mad for it actually. The veggies were to die for and we are not vegetarians. I had a fried calamari and shrimp dish, my husband dorado -- fabulous lunch.
We went to Rossy in San Jose -- yummy....actually stopped there on the way to the airport for "take out" they wrapped all the goodies up to go with it, that was a wonderful surprise.
So I will add my name to the list of people who have benefited from your vast experience. Your guide is very well worth your $7.95 plus shipping. We saved it in not wasting money on mediocre meals.
Bravo and thanks,

Thanks for your wonderful restaurant guide. As first time visitors to Cabo we were apprehensive about finding good places to eat. All of your recommendations were right on target. When visiting other countries we like to eat at local restaurants, avoiding hotels if possible. This is where your guide really paid off.
We were especially pleased to make the acquaintance of Imelda and Alexander owners of the new La Picazon in Cabo San Lucas. We had several meals there including a couple of carry out lunches consumed on the beach. One night they even cooked us a special dinner when I mentioned how much my wife and I liked fresh Wahoo. We felt more like family than customers. As a matter of fact we enjoyed ourselves so much we bought a time share and are making plans to return in November.

My husband and I just returned from Los Cabos. I ordered your Restaurant guide before we left and wanted to let you know we found it very helpful. We dined at Tequila in San Jose and Mi Casa, Ole Ole, Felix, and Margaritaville in Cabo San Lucas. I'm sure you are correct in stating it is hard to find a bad meal in Los Cabos but after dining our first night at Mi Casa (I had the Sea Bass) we had total faith in your guide.
The only so-so meal we had was at our hotel. It wasn't bad but not up to standard with other restaurants in the area.

My wife and I just honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas and your dining guide
was invaluable. The synopses were better than our hotel concierge's and
the directions were perfect. Plus, we used the guide to head over to
San Jose del Cabo one evening for dinner and, again, the guide was right
We just wanted to tell you both thanks and wish you luck with future books.

recommend Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating to all of our clients
traveling to Cabo. I have been to Cabo on numerous occasions and this
guide has been the single best publication to help me find the best eating
establishments in Los Cabos. While there are numerous choices the guide really
narrows the field and I appreciate the detailed comments and supplemental
information supplied by this handy guide. I like the guide so much that
I now provide a complimentary copy with every reservation we make for
our clients use.

Received your Los Cabos dining guide in yesterday's mail. It has an excellent format: easy to read, very informative, and honest opinion. Well worth the price.
Thanks for the help --- and for your quick response.

I just returned from Los Cabos and used your dining guide. The restaurants were excellent especially Morgan's for food and decor. The Thai restaurant was an extra special surprise.
Thanks for this excellent guide.
This book is as important as an airplane ticket or sunscreen when going
to Cabo. We have visited this part of Baja twice before and have spent a
lot of time trying to pick a place, from the hundreds of restaurants in the
area, that would be both good and safe. With this book, not only did we save
time, we saved money, and we ate like kings. The book has everything from fine
dining to places with dirt floors, all of which were safe, and the food was
In the ten days we were in Cabo we ate at 14 different places from this book. Buy this guide and
keep it with you at all times. I did, and now my clothes don't fit.
