Golf in Los Cabos

If you're a golfer and planning a trip to Los Cabos, you're in for a treat! Los Cabos is known for challenging golf courses that take advantage of the natural desert terrain and stunning ocean views. With great weather year-round, and courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones II and Pete Dye, Los Cabos has become a premiere golf destination.

We've put together information and links about the golf courses of Los Cabos, but we don't provide price information because green fees and twilight times are changeable with the season and weather. Even prices found on the courses' own web sites are often out of date, so we recommend that you contact the courses directly for the most current rates and tee time information while planning your vacation. For eighteen holes, you can expect fees in the range of $150 - 250 during the winter, and $90 - 150 during the summer, with the lowest rates later in the day.

When planning your golf trip, don't forget Los Cabos can get very hot, especially in the summer months. To beat the heat, get early tee times, drink plenty of water and don't forget your sunscreen and hat!

Though not of the world class caliber of the other courses in the area, the San Jose Municipal Campo de Golf offers some of the most interesting golf in Los Cabos at affordable prices. The nine hole 2,900 yard course was built by the Mexican government's FONATUR development agency, which maintains it beautifully. Designed for intermediate and beginning golfers, this is a great course for the entire family to play. The course offers panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez and the Cape that comprises San Jose del Cabo, a large lake, and a lateral sand trap to challenge over achievers.
